I’ve read about the CALL website which created by the Taiwanese instructor “Chen Chi-Fen”. As a matter of fact, I pretty enjoyed the websites she builded. Before Jeff mentioned her in the last class, I’ve already browsed some of her work which related to English teaching on line, such as the techniques of teaching grammar or pronunciation. But this is the first time for me to know her production for “CALL”. One of the interesting findings that I have after reading her website is one of the links-”Students Projects”. She posts several links which are the websites that her students in CALL created for English teaching. Nearly all of them did a good job, especially when I clicked the “Jokes” on one of the students’ frontpage. It was really fun. I really enjoyed when I was reading the jokes. It also reminded me not only to create a useful website but also to let students learn English happily. I think I will include this idea into my future teaching and also my portofolio plan.
